Federal Student Aid
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) provides you access to more than $150 billion in college grants, work-study funds, federal student loans, state aid, as well as many scholarships.
The FAFSA application will open in December. An FSA ID is required to complete the FAFSA. Students and parents are encouraged to create their FSA IDs ahead of time.
Understanding Your Award Letter
A college/school financial aid offer (sometimes called an award letter) tells you what financial aid you are eligible for at a particular college or career school. If you have applied to several schools, be sure to compare aid offers. Understanding your financial aid offer can help you decide the best option for you.
